REIKI – this word describes universal or spiritual vital energy, but also the methods which facilitate us the use of this force. Not more, not less. But how marvellous this is !!
The Usui System of Natural Healing with Reiki (in Japanese: Usui Shiki Ryoho) is one of the most efficient alternative therapies of modern times. Usui Reiki is a method of integrated natural healing by laying on of hands, and at the same time it is a personal way of self-development. In our trainings we put emphasis on both approaches. Once you have become a Reiki canal capable of transferring universal vital energy – by means of a ritual initiation – you gain at the same time access to a basic, efficient and natural form of therapy applicable for yourself or with other beings.
Reiki as a companion on our personal way of life helps us grow and develop our full capacities. Through access to a higher level of consciousness in both the material and the spiritual realm, we win at the same time a more open vision of our life and that of the people around. If we wish, we can see with new eyes our own person and our fellows, the world and the universe. Reiki allows us to live and to act with more love, and thus with more ease and serenity. We experience a new quality of life. We feel liberated and joyful, innocent and in more harmony with our real nature.
Reiki helps us discover a more subtle perception of our real essence and our responsabilities, always in accordance with our state of development. This is exactly the requirement which permits us to not only bear our destiny but become master of our life.
Reiki is open to everyone: women, men, children. It is a way for all those aspiring a personal or therapeutic development and for those who want to grow efficiently and harmoniously.
Reiki is recommended to those who are tired, sick, depressed or sad, ..., but also to those who just love life and want to give their love to their fellows. There is no counterindication. Reiki is a therapeutic art and combines well with any form of health care: with allopathy as well as homeopathy, with alternative methods, natural elixirs,..., whose effectiveness it can increase.
In an ideal world, every village would have someone who practises Reiki, every neighbourhood, every house.
Reiki can be perfectly associated to other professions aiming at taking care of our body or mind, at touching or manipulating, like psychotherapists, medical doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, chiropracticiens, masseurs,...,
In addition, it is very complementary to techniques like yoga, meditation, psychotherapy or other methods of personal development.
It is true that Reiki sometimes appears magical in its effects when we use it for ourselves or for someone else. And yet it is no persuasion or religion, but a powerful method of self-development, capable of reconnecting every being with its essence.
It is our conception to receive you here in our Institut Reiki Provence in a warm and loving way, all in line with the magical event that you are going to live during the initiation into the Reiki energy. We have prepared the trainings with a lot of love and competence and try to share with you a maximum of important knowledge and abilities of the Reiki teachings. In doing so, we remain conscious how much of an outstanding event it is for you to be connected to this force.
The training program takes into account all important aspects of the Usui System of Natural Healing (Usui Shiki Ryoho). In other words, we grant equal attention to both aspects, "therapeutic art" and "method of self-development".
The core of the Reiki 1 training are naturally the ritual initiations into the Reiki energy in the line of Dr. Mikao Usui. We transmit the first degree of Reiki in four ritual acts. Thereupon, Reiki will circulate inside of you or flow out of your hands, whenever you will wish so, as long as you will live.
Some important parts of the practice in the first degree training are the self treatment and a complete therapeutic treatment of another person with the universal energy of life Reiki. In doing so, we establish a context between each position of the hands with the Traditional Chinese Medicine. The mastery of such a complete treatment enables you to work as an independent and autonomous Reiki therapist. You will learn moreover how to treat a person suffering from a severe shock, how to help animals and plants, and many other possibilities to integrate Reiki wisely into your daily life.
But that's not all: we are happy to show you the most beautiful methods proposed by Dr. Mikao Usui himself. These methods are basic and efficient, reflecting the Reiki system itself, yet they are still not very prevalent in the West. Together we will practise methods that help increase the flow of energy and help you discover and develop your ethereal perception. Oh yes, this is a great adventure !
Of course, you will not lack theoretic explanations. What is Reiki? Where does it come from? How does it work – via the aura and our energy centres, called chakra? We endeavour to answer all your questions. We like it if you ask questions. We introduce to you an alternative concept of health and disease and teach the fundamental principles of spiritual practice. These principles facilitate people with special talents – like magnetism, clairvoyance or similar – to efficiently deploy their talents in accordance with the cosmic order.
If you wish to further develop your practice with Reiki, you will sooner or later want to enlarge your Reiki skills. It will then be the initiation into the three powerful spiritual symbols of the second degree, transmitted by Dr. Mikao Usui, that will enable you to further explore the emotional and spiritual level of the Reiki system. At the same time, you will be able to further enhance the flow of energy coming out of your hands.
This step is for many like the opening of a sort of magical door, which lets us in to a new kind of personal or professional Reiki practice. The acquaintance with the symbols broadens our mind and our possiblities to heal and grow with Reiki.
Following the initiation into the energy of the second level and the three symbols, you will learn different methods for building a deeper contact with the energetic quality of these symbols, for gaining a complete understanding of them on all levels, especially the ethereal one.
You will of course learn the classic methods of the second level, which are healing at a distance and the mental healing. In addition, we invite you to experience new methods which will help you procede on your personal way, namely the systematic contact with your inner child and the clearing of karma. You will learn how to send Reiki energy into past or future situations and that there are virtually no more limits for your energy practice.
We practise all techniques and methods together and see to it that you will be able to use them directly in your daily life or your therpeutic practice.
The theory part of the second degree mainly concerns the symbols. We will address questions like: what are spiritual symbols, where do they come from, how are they composed and what do they mean.
The third level of Reiki is like the completion of the Reiki house with the initiation into the fourth symbol of Dr. Usui, which is the symbol of the Great Light.
While the second degree is caracterized by the acquaintance of concrete techniques for a systematic energy practice, the third degree teaches mainly how to let go, and how to be so confident as to let go. The confidence we mean is the reliance on a higher wisdom as well as on our own inner wisdom. The initiation into the energy of the third Reiki level represents a big step forward in our personal developement, even if the application of the fourth symbol can bring about new possibilities for your therapeutic practice.
The access to the fourth symbol is the key for the contact with the light of the spiritual world and represents therefore the integration of the spiritual level (following the physico-emotional realm of the first and the mental-emotional realm of the second degree). It accelerates considerably the gain of a meditative condition and opens up a door to the world of meditation, if this door is not open yet.
The practice part mainly consists of creating a personal access to the Symbol of the Great Light. We show you different possibilites how to familiarize with this astral symbol. In this context, it shows very often useful to reiterate the most important points for the correct handling of spiritual symbols.
The origins of the fourth symbol, its spiriutal tradition, its meaning and composition as well as the specifics of the third degree's energetic quality are the essential subjects of the theory part of this training.
Please make sure to be on time at the agreed training location.
You don't need any special preparation. It can be advantageous though if you are as lucid as possible. So maybe don't plan to stay out long the night before. Any kind of introspection or centring is welcome but not indispensable. Just come like you are.
Dress comfortably, you will not need metal juwellery. Please bring a pair of warm socks and a blanket during Winter, and a sun hat in Summer.
We offer warm and cold drinks. Please be so kind as to bring some small vegetarian dish for the shared lunch.
